About the Jimmy Fund
Dear Potential Donor:
Statistics show 1-in-3 Americans will face cancer in their lifetime and that nearly 4,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every day in this country. The 2nd Annual Texas Jimmy Fund Golf Tournament is dedicated to changing those odds and would like your help.
I write to invite you to join our fight against cancer by sponsoring the Texas Jimmy Fund Golf Tournament. All proceeds from our tournament benefit the Jimmy Fund, which supports the life-saving work of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I’ve enclosed materials that describe the event and the various sponsorship levels offered. It is my hope that we can count on your financial commitment to help us attain our goal.
For 60 years, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has been committed to one mission: giving cancer patients the best, most compassionate care today while finding cures for tomorrow. While we have seen incredible progress in cancer research and care, it is far from enough. More people are getting cancer than ever before and the cure(s) still elude us. You can help bring us closer.
I’m also offering the opportunity to provide promotional items for our Player Gift Bags. These can be any small item, balls, tees, cups, towels – any item that promotes your business. We will list all sponsors of any kind on our official tournament website www.texasjimmyfund.org.
